在Windows Vista上设置PPTP VPN连接

VPN-connection setup via PPTP protocol on Windows Vista is very simple. All you need is to repeat the steps shown on the images below. After VPN setup you will be able to visit any websites safely, staying anonymous and not worrying that someone can track your actions or steal the transferred data.

Right click on Lan / Wi-Fi icon from System tray and click on Network and Sharing Center.

Choose Set up a connection or network.

In appeared window select Connect to a workplace and click Next.

Select Use my Internet connection (VPN).

Insert the following settings:

Internet address - address of VPN-server to connect for. Click here to get the list of servers
Destination name - any desired name for connection, for example SecureVPN

Check item Don't connect now and click Next.

Insert accounting data:

Username - username
Password - password

Check item Remember this password and click Create.

Important Note: your VPN username & password is placed in file readme.txt (was sent to your email after ordering the subscription).

Click Close.

Click on Manage network connections.

Right-click on just created VPN-connection and select Properties.

On Networking tab set Type of VPN - PPTP VPN, uncheck items Internet Protocol version 6 and File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks, then click OK.

To establish VPN connection click on Start->Connect to, select created connection and click Connect.

Click Connect in appeared window.

VPN connection will be established in few seconds.

To break VPN connection click on Start->Connect to, select created connection and click Disconnect.

If you need change address of VPN server - open properties of VPN connection (repeat steps 8-9), click on General tab and set new address of VPN server, then click OK.
