Access to TOR over VPN
We have added a new opportunity for our users: now, if you connect our certain VPN server in Strasbourg, you will be able to browse sites of anonymous Tor network in .onion domain via usual browser. Besides, all traffic will be directed through TOR, and you will not need use any additional software to work with TOR.
This opportunity may be useful if the provider blocks access to TOR or if you don’t have a possibility or desire to use official software to work with this network. Or you can set up all connections on the router, and then all devices inside the home network will work through TOR. Everything will look like you use usual VPN.
You will need special settings to work with Firefox and its derivatives: enter about:config in the address line, find network.dns.blockDotOnion and change the value on FALSE.
