How to setup OpenVPN on iOS

Setting up a VPN connection using the OpenVPN protocol on an iPhone or iPad running iOS is not difficult: you need to install the free OpenVPN Connect application and import the .ovpn configuration file with the connection parameters. Follow these steps as shown in the manual, and if you encounter any problems, feel free to contact our technical support team.

Install OpenVPN Connect from App Store.

In the email you received after ordering a subscription, select the zip archive with the configurations and save it to the Download folder.

Open the zip archive in the Download folder, select one of the configuration files .ovpn

Tap on the "Forward" icon and select the OpenVPN Connect application.

In the OpenVPN Connect application tap ADD to import the configuration profile.

Tap CONNECT for connection.

Allow OpenVPN app to add VPN configurations.

To setup the outgoing IP open the http://setup.securevpnconnect.net when VPN-connection is active. Select the IP address you need and click the green check mark. The address is changed instantly, and the next time you connect to the VPN, the previously set address will be used.
